David Gaughran

David Gaughran is an Irish writer who spends most of his time travelling the world, collecting stories.

He is the author of the Latin American historical adventures Mercenary and A Storm Hits Valparaiso.

David also wrote the short stories If You Go Into The Woods and Transfection, and the popular writers’ guides Let’s Get Digital and Let’s Get Visible.

He runs the publishing blog Let’s Get Digital and the Latin American history site South Americana, and his work has been featured in the Huffington Post, The Sunday Times, and the Irish Times.

I caught up with David at this year's Festival of Writing in York where he was giving several presentations about self-publishing.
