Melissa Addey writes historical novels and non-fiction books.

The first novel, which was set in China, The Fragrant Concubine, was longlisted for both the Mslexia Novel Competition and the Historical Novel Society Indie Award.

It landed Melissa an agent at Coombs Moylett & Maclean Literary Agency.

She also writes non-fiction books, the first being 100 Things to do while Breastfeeding and the second titled The Happy Commuter and has recently released The Storytelling Entrepreneur and Merchandise For Authors.

Melissa just finished a year as a Writer in Residence at the British Library in London and has spent three months this year being a blogger for Mslexia, the UK's bestselling magazine for women who write.
